Abby’s last day of school

Today was Abby’s last day of preschool for the year.  Since she misses the birthday cut-off of August 31st for Kindergarten she will be in Mrs. Jean and Mrs. Tracie’s class again next year which she is excited about.  She loves her teachers and they love her and are excited to have her back.  Another girl in her class is coming back next year as well so she will already know someone.  Abby is already talking about being able to put her picture on the “5” this coming September in her class.

Today they had a patriotic themed singing/tumbling performance (Abby was part of the white stripes in the flag), their teachers passed out scrapbooks they’ve been working on for each child all year and we all enjoyed a hot dog lunch.

Don’t croak…I’m blogging!

Since I’ve been terrible about cataloguing the kids’ lives thus far I decided I needed to do better.  Not sure how long it will last but here goes.  Here’s some miscellaneous pics of the kids.

Fall Family Photos

We had our family photos taken yesterday by Beth and what I’ve seen I love.  It went better than I thought…Abigail did pretty well until the last 15 minutes when she decided she was over it and just wanted to run around and play.  The boys were pretty cooperative the whole time it was just trying to keep them from falling over.

Halloween Hay Ride

Friends of ours from church invited us to go on a Halloween Trick-or-Treating Hay Ride through their neighborhood.  We had a great time and Abigail did as well.  This was our first time trick-or-treating as a family.  Abby was a cow, Davis a giraffe, and Jackson a chicken.
